The Official Television Thread
RE: The Official Television Thread
Sometimes the mini plots for these spy shows don't make sense.

Like infiltrating a villain's fortress to steal a deadly virus as though there isn't a recipe for it to just be remade.

Yeah, but that wouldn’t film well. And we all know that REAL spies rely on heavy weapons, championship level martial arts, and gadgets that would make Major Boothroyd weep with envy.

Spider-Noir is available.

Added it to my watch list.

Ben Reilly, a seasoned, down-on-his-luck private investigator in 1930s New York, is forced to grapple with his past life, following a deeply personal tragedy, as the city's one and only superhero.

Onto Nick Cage and spidey-noir. You can either watch it in color or authentic black & white, with an option to alternate between the two.

Watching it in B&W. It’s like The Maltese Falcon meets Marvel Comics. Love it.

And I had forgotten what a good actor Cage is.

I feel as though Clint Walker (Cheyenne) is the type of guy Tom of Finland used as a model for his art.

Gosh dang, that man was beautiful.

Finished Spider-Noir. I thought it was exceptionally well done, to the point where I really hope there’s at least one more season.

My only minor quibble is that I just didn’t buy Lukas Haas as a stone cold killer (to me, he’ll always be the little Amish boy from Witness).

Call Me Mother

Three drag legends adopt the next generation of artists into their new drag houses, mentoring them through the mother of all drag competitions.

Apple TV has a new series Cape Fear starring Javier Bardem. I'm a fan of Javier Bardem, but Apple TV is expensive. I'll see if I can download it instead.
