Which do you think is a surer sign of low intelligence and/or low information?

RE: Which do you think is a surer sign of low intelligence and/or low information?
Like they say with databases, Rubbish in, Rubbish out.

All people think they're doing what they feel is right.
Most/many are just the product of rubbish in, ie: their upbringing and or the people they move with.

Many are just wired differently, like Vorlon described.

I knew a guy who restored a 66 mustang to concours condition.
His old wooden house was falling to bits around him.
But the car brought him happiness. Who are we to judge?

and to flesh this out:

present a group of folks with 2 + 2 = ?

and you're going to get a bell shaped curve of answers. Some folks will say 4. Some answer more than 3. And a few will inquire if it's a trick question. My friends boyfriend is going to answer truthfully and completely the answer is "asparagus". And he can pass a polygraph with that answer.

That's his truth, his world won't allow any other answer, and he'll die knowing he was right. And that is precisely what he did.

Not all Trump supporters are stupid.

Some see a man who thinks "I am going to obtain more riches as President than all Presidents combined! The richest Prez ever. Amazingly rich!" They attach themselves to his boot heels and say "I am going to obtain more riches than any other sycophant in history! Amazingly rich!"

Not so stupid!

ad homs are so much easier than dissecting issues and refuting assertions

his odd way of evaluating problems and choosing courses of action proved fatal to him while he was in his early 40s.

Hard to not consider it an assisted suicide, but it wasn't.  He just wasn't compatible with how this world works.

In another timeline/reality/universe he might have been Jesus or Buddha.  Here he just wound up dying slowly and painfully while declining medical care that could have saved him.  He even acknowledged his illness (a rare but treatable cancer) but couldn't work out in his head that accepting the proven treatment was the right answer and it would cure him.  And he wasn't into alternative quack stuff either.
