I had someone tracking me down by this name, and thought (erroneously) that a name-change would cure the issue. She has google-fu like a mofo.

I'm not a fan of name changes. I'm bad with names as it is, when they change it's worse.
 The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
