Am off to Berlin in September

RE: Am off to Berlin in September
Friend of mine was in Germany during the 90s. He had a rough go touring a concentration camp (don't remember which) and was really rattled from the experience.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

None of them are particularly unrattling...

I haven't tried, but it would be madness if you couldn't buy tickets at the airport S-Bahn station, of all places. Since Schönefeld is in zone C, you'll have to buy the full zones ABC 7-day ticket I presume, but that's only a few Euros more. Or you buy one trip to Mitte or whereever and buy a more limited 7-day ticket there if you don't need to go to the C zone after that.

Well according to their journey planner the single use ticket is €5.90 and the one week ABC zone card is €37.50 which you can buy online and only (as far as I can see from the website). So I'm thinking I'll buy the seven day ticket (or even two) online as I'll use them well over the course of my stay.

Edit: Do you know what, I just emailed BVG using the email they have on the site with my questions. With any luck I'll get a reply during next week.

Is there any reason to think that they aren't available at the ticket vending machines?

Probably none, but I got burned quite badly by not being prepared when spending a week in Amsterdam about twelve years ago. Cost me €300.

What does VOBA stand for in German? I'm looking at buying tickets for a football match while I'm there, and I don't understand that category.

I'm sure you can just buy any S-Bahn ticket at the airport.

I've never seen that abbreviation. Do you have a link?

It's a long link. https://www.union-zeughaus.de/spticket/s...9ec&nonav=
Click on any of the available sections, and the second choice will usually be "VOBA". Now as it's only slightly cheaper than full price I'll probably pay full price if I buy.

I think it's the rebate you can get if you are a member of the Volksbank bank.

Right, well that's not for me. Thanks for answering my questions.
