Frank Sinatra got these original lyrics rejected by the record company.
"Gangsters holding knives, exchanging stab wounds." Record company was like, "Yea, we like the melody, but no, try again." Barbra Streisand had these original lyrics rejected too. "People.....People who kill people.........ARE THE UGLIEST PEOPLE". Her record company was like, "Um while we agree....No...try again." 
Also, the guitar solo to "Badge", from Cream. Clapton really tears it up there.
And the solo in Soundgarden's "Superunknown", especially at the end where he's laying into those long bell-tones. 
This track still gives me Industrial Madness sometimes. From the main riff to the harsh string sounding synth near the end. I wish I could program synths like Oscar Mayorga. That's reaching, I suppose as I'm no better than any average amateur.

 Not that the vocals are bad, but I'd love an instrumental version of this. I like 2:10-22ish and 3:10ish through the very end. I like how it stops, basically.
