"Life" Movie

Space horror movie "Life" just became available to rent here, so we watched it.
Don't watch it. The trailer might look intriguing. Just don't. It was obviously written by morons and is populated by Prometheus level moronic characters who wouldn't be able to drive a fork lift without killing themselves, let alone operate a space station. It's basically one long insult to your intelligence. I think they should nuke Hollywood from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.

I'm seriously considering giving up on the medium. I just don't feel like spending life time on watching movies any more.

What's to like except the creature in the first act, which is cool, but also in the trailer?

Hell, Prince of Persia was a masterpiece in comparison. Just watch that on repeat

I could write a whole book on the fatal conceptual flaws and idiocy of the science.

They have a creature which in front of their eyes develops from a single omnipotent cell into a highly organized colony organism, yet when they open the lab none of the supposed elite scientists even considers that the organism is dropping cells literally everywhere which must obviously be assumed to have the same capability as the original cell, and hence everything is contaminated in act one and must be isolated. The movie is basically over after 20 minutes because ground control knows everyone is obviously contaminated and must be isolated from earth indefinitely. It's just brainless.
