Sad that the squealers won against the Ravens, but I would have picked the Ravens regardless because that's my team. Win or lose, I will always pick them.

My immediate supervisor is a die-hard Ravens fan, so I decorate his office door with all manner of derisive images (dead ravens, Poe saying "nevermore", etc.) when they bite it.*






*That is, when my Vikings don't stink up the place and give him a free comeback, like this week.

Also Court Jester never got his picks to me. By rule that means he forfeit's the first game. I realize though that now he has an advantage picking the rest of the games. What do the other players want to do?

The options are basically:

1) We let him pick the rest of the games as per usual.
2) We select the picks somehow (i.e. random, home team always, etc.)
3) We forfeit all his other games.

I go with (1). At the end of the season, perhaps the overall winner could be determined by a player's winning percentage rather than simply most wins, to allow for those weeks when this or that member doesn't get a Thursday pick in on time (assuming everyone otherwise participated each week).

That, or dress him in pigskin and make him run amok in Mecca.

I've never had a problem with complete forfeiture if your picks aren't in by the deadline. But then, I've never had a problem with allowing late picks for the remaining games either, After all, it's all in fun. So, I guess I'm no help.
