I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

'Law and order" in republican speak means shoot the niggers and clobber the spiks. As we speak, some republicans are probably seeing there just aren't enough reliable Nazis in this country to assure their continued electoral success, and they just kissed any spik and nigger votes goodbye for at least a generation.
Only idiots and racists will like this move. Fortunately for Trump, I guess, all of his followers fall into one of the two categories. And in many cases, both.

I don't see how the supreme court can stand by and allow this or any other president to set aside due process for a particular group of people. Does the power of the presidential pardon really supersede the power of the court to interpret the law? And if the head of the executive branch decides not to enforce the law in the manner the legislative branch intended, do we just devolve to into a banana republic run by an ignorant, self-styled strongman? If he can't be impeached he needs to be put down like the rabid dog he is.
