I think it's just as useful to look at the Catholic Church's attitude towards Hitler. Toland quotes Pius XII as commenting about Barbarossa, the invasion of the USSR, as "high-minded gallantry in defense of the foundation of Christian culture." The Church, knowing his crimes against humanity, never acted to excommunicate him.
The company you keep ...

Hopefully you'll provide Catholic criticism of his actions, particularly before 1943 when his defeat was apparent. Certainly his many public violations should have garnered such criticism. Why was your church so silent in the face of such evil? "The world wonders ..."

This type of stuff only matters to religions who claim to be the source of morality.

Look at the numerous Catholic priests who molest the children in their own congregation, pretty sure they where serious Catholics.
It would prevent Hitler from doing the sort of terrible things he did such as.
1. Living in sin with Eva Braun.
2. Having a massive military brothel system for his soldiers on the eastern front, endangering their souls and harming the souls and bodies of thousands of Polish and Soviet women.
3. Requisitioning the Paris brothels. A tawdry tid bit of WW2 history is that the German officers requisitioned all the high-class brothels and Paris, and denied the Frenchmen any access to those shameless trashy women who worked in those institutions. I don't recall a single instance where the Wehrmacht officers decided to make decent women out of them.
4. Killing many Polish Priests, and religious. If the Nazis gave a darn about their immortal souls why would they persecute such men (and women of God)
5. Killing Edith Stein. This is one Jewess who saw the light. Yet the light did not save her from Hitler's darkness:

6. Generally showing a cruel, grotesque disregard for human life and the dignity of the human person.
There are many many more violation of Catholic dogma he commited. Will be providing them soon I don't doubt that he violated some Catholic doctrine that is not the point, the question is can you be a Catholic and do terrible things. I pointed out the Catholic priests as examples of devout Catholics doing terrible things. Catholic Dogma does not say that "if you don't adhere to the doctrine then you are not catholic", it actually has the built in loophole of confession so you can absolve yourself of wrong doing and stay in Gods good graces.

Yes, I doubt that Hitler pulled his hatred of jews and gays and such out of his ass. some group of people likely gave him the idea that certain groups were worthy of death. I wonder where anyone would get that crazy idea......
