Christians are to blame for Hurricane Harvey.

I did, apparently God saw fit to let it go as is. Not my call on such things because I'm not omnipresent.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

RE: Christians are to blame for Hurricane Harvey.
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!

Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.

Dead wrong.  The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.

Quote:Some people deserve hell.

I say again:  No exceptions.  Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it.  As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.

Dude, Jesus promised Christians in Matthew 17:20 that with faith any Christian will be able to movie mountains! Yes you read it good MOUNTAINS! And yet no Christian has moved a mountain to block the flood and prevent it from happening. Nothing. They must really hate Texans or none of the Christians today have any faith in Jesus.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

So Harvey hammers Houston and Trump arranges prayers.

And now Irma's on it's way.

Apparently God's a prick.

Or he doesn't exist.

In all fairness to God, yes he did bring lots of needed water. But he also brought the warmth of fire to dry up any excess water.

You see, because he lives beyond our universe, his magic "poofs" don't arrive at exactly the right time or place. We have severe "exactness" issues in our universe caused by the uncertainty of the quantum world. God has no control of his blessings once it leaves his wand. Sometimes worm holes get in the way, other times his blessings are voided by a black hole.

But he is doing his faultless best at all times. It is our universe and everything in it which is corrupted and needs saving.
No God, No fear.
Know God, Know fear.
