Entirely untrue. I read and shared the entire article. Of course there were racial tensions, hypersensitivity is being stoked to absurd levels and some people's reticular activating system are being misdirected to overreact to trivial things in the environment. It's becoming a self-fulfilling prophecy. Just ask Robert Lee at ESPN.

You shared a link, Wooters.
Your chosen thread title and your original content within the posts regarding the details of what happened were entirely misleading.

Whether that was a consequence of your desperate need to push your "SJWs-run-amok!" narrative that resulted in you not reading the article thoroughly, or due to you simply being a bigoted fuck-face who actually read the details and was all too HAPPY to ignore the facts and present with willful deception, well...the world may never know.

What an over reaction. This sounds childish to me. As childish as sticking one in a tree.

Sounds like banana's anywhere that weekend should have been out of bounds. Who was the insensitive bastard that served banana's at breakfast?

Hope that they didn't serve Wonder bread at lunch. Or tacos. Or..........

Or maybe all these years arguing for the reasonableness of god belief justifying that belief just sets him up for concluding no racism was involved so long as you can show there is a possible interpretation which doesn't include any.  Maybe this is the cognitive dissonance we're always going on about.

Bullshit. You left out the previous incident, which informed the reactions to the incident you posted about. That is pretty much the definition of stripping it of context. You didn't seek to understand why they responded as they did, you simply called them snowflakes and called it a day.

Lazy, sloppy thinking. Of course, because those slurs weren't directed at you, you have the luxury of being blasé. For all your philosophy, you're very weak in this thinking thing -- it's obvious to me that you're unable to see beyond your own precepts and try to understand something from another point of view.

Pretty sure he's making it plain in one little corner of the world here, especially when he doubles down after having the context restored and still he ignores it.

There's no excuse for ignorance once the correct information has been supplied. At that point, he is actively choosing to ignore how shit like "Harambe bait" on a noosed banana might affect someone whose race has been both slurred as "gorillas" and lynched out of hatred ... and at that point, he's drinking the hate whether he knows it or not.

I hope that religion of his gives him some morality before it's too fucking late -- but I'm not holding my breath.

The fact that a piece of fruit was slyly substituted for an actual effigy, doesn't change the message being conveyed:

"NOT WELCOME"

That was enough to make the ladies nervous enough to want to leave a secluded retreat out in the woods. Doesn't seem like a terribly unreasonable response to me.

More like a raccoon. There is a family of them in the small park near my apartment building. Sometimes they do very strange things.

Innocent banana eaters hanging their peels in trees at Ole Miss in order to avoid(?) littering?

I don't know if the littering college student meant to send a racist message or not - either scenario seems plausible at this point. People do some real dumb things with their litter sometimes, especially lazy 20 year olds who are at school with no mommy or daddy to pick up after them.

Yeah...who cares?

You already know that a fellow student admitted to doing this.

Speaking of which...I'd scarcely trust what Wooters claims he had for lunch after witnessing him pull this sort of deceptive bullshit for the nth time. Why anyone would give his testimony regarding a personal relationship with an alleged God any serious consideration is beyond me.

Them 'coons, goddamn, they'll do any sort of crazy thing, amirite?

Raccoons don't eat in trees. They don't carry food they find on the ground and put the detritus in trees. They will sometimes climb trees to escape unwanted attention, but this is silly.

He just couldn't find a bin.
But someone did hang banana peels in nooses around the school previously.
Did you read that bit Neo? Do you think there might be underlying racial tension there already?
Do you think something might have been seriously out of control already?
Do you even think? Yes, I think you know exactly what you're doing.

Or course he didn't .He only reads the parts and the context that fit his agenda. "The evil leftists blah blah blah" Actual research would be inconvenient to his narrative.

And raccoons don't eat in trees they eat were they find food .Then and if startled simply leave it then come back .
