Hopefully by seeing its beauty you will overcome your stubborn refusal to not be practicing Catholics.

Lol, all the pretty paintings in the world won't change the fact that you practice superstitious nonsense.

This is horrible!  Is that really how they get the communion wafers?

Jesus must have been one corpulent elephantine son of a bitch to still have the blubber to supply wafers after all these years.

Big Grin

If they could have been satisfied with inflatable sodomy dolls they wouldn't have become priests.

Better than who?

Than everyone at anytime ever. Greatest painting of all time:

YMMV but I have no problem asserting the general superiority of Western European painting and music. There really is no comparison. However, that was ages ago and the West is deep in a period of artistic decline.

I'll have to disagree with Neo on Protestant music being better. Two words: gregorian chant Smile

"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

I don't know, I quite like the one where Michelangelo tells the Pope to fuck himself:

Hint - it's the gesture the cherub on the right is making.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Does not look that tender. I'd let them stew a bit more.
