What is Art?
Art is art, says nobody. Art is about politics as much as anything. Do you agree or disagree? Shakespeare was a stooge for royalty.

RE: What is Art?
Art is emotional self-expression through the act of creating or using creative media(paint, instruments, glue, etc.). I am a supporter of "everyone can make and do art".

Art yoked by politics is no longer art. It has become polemic.

All abstraction in art is politically motivated. The Modernists were revolted by the traditional system that could start a world war.

Art is craftsmanship more than anything. When Being in art, we are barely conscious of reality.

So say ye. I'm leery of absolutes, especially when it comes to something so personal as art.
