I have a family member who is living with the after-effects of having necrotising fasciitis.

Large amounts of his soft tissue, including muscle, were eaten away before he was saved.

He wants to work and has tried, holding down a low paid job that he worked for up to twelve hours a day, for a year, despite the discomfort and pain he suffered every day.

He finally stopped working when his doctor told him he needed to.

Should he not receive any form of benefit?

I am talking about the young able bodied young ladies and gentleman who watch tv and read gossip sites instead of finding work.

If you think about it many of the "poor" of America aren't poor by global standards.

They all can afford tv and internet and other such things.


Honestly..if the poor valued education a oton it would do wonders for lifting them up

What do people like you think of the Welfare system in this country?

In theory I think it is good, but I think if unchecked it could lead to laziness and sloth.

Why are the poor so poor? Often they have no concept of work or really family history of owning property and keeping everything in order.

If we take away the welfare from people who don't really earn it I just think they'd have the incentive to get off their rumps and actually work for a living.

Women would definitely be disincentivized to have numerous bastard children outside of wedlock.

Maybe if Boqueesha stopped birthing babies by 10 different fathers (and get paid handsomey for each one) she'd be able to imrpove her own life for a change.

That's an awful lot of generalizations and lumping of people together without showing any sort of facts to back any of this up.
