One god at a time, I suppose. Though I imagine there will be a lot of overlap.

I seem to recall a court case where someone or other was suing God and the case was thrown out because the defendant could not be served.
Here it is...
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lawsuits_against_God
Quote:In the U.S. state of Nebraska, State Senator Ernie Chambers filed a suit in 2008 against God, seeking a permanent injunction against God's harmful activities, as an effort to publicize the issue of public access to the court system.[1] The suit was dismissed because God could not be properly notified, not having a fixed address. The Judge stated, "Given that this court finds that there can never be service effectuated on the named defendant this action will be dismissed with prejudice".[1] The senator, assuming God to be singular and all-knowing, responded "The court itself acknowledges the existence of God. A consequence of that acknowledgement is a recognition of God's omniscience ... Since God knows everything, God has notice of this lawsuit."[1][2] Chambers filed the lawsuit in response to another lawsuit that he considered to be frivolous and inappropriate.[3]

Won't christians just claim kangaroo court?
I'd suggest the ghost of Flip Wilson for judge but that might give them a gotcha moment.

This strikes me as some really stupid "God's Not Dead" shit. Like, I'm expecting Sabrina the Teenage Witch to make a rousing speech at the end that has whatever would constitute a jury on here all nodding their heads.
I dunno... it strikes me as the kind of stereotype that serves no real purpose but to make us look immature.

Jesus Tap-Dancing Christ people. This is intended to be a fun and only semi-serious exercise to entertain us. We aren't going to prove or disprove god here in this thread. Think of it as a game.
If you want to volunteer for one of the roles, great. Please let me know.
If you don't and just want to be a stick in the mud, cool, but maybe don't clutter up the thread then?

Sorry we took the half-joke thread seriously, dude. Maybe the humor section would have been better?

No. The prosecution would argue special pleading.
I'll get my coat.
It's amazing 'science' always seems to 'find' whatever it is funded for, and never the oppsite. Drich.
