Republican Collins announces ‘no’ vote on healthcare bill that dooms GOP’s chances of passing it

Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME) just became the fourth Republican to oppose the GOP’s last-ditch effort to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act.

Collins had been on the fence prior to the Congressional Budget Office’s scoring of the bill Monday evening, which seemed to drive her over the edge.

If they were going to backtrack they wouldn't have said anything. 

That was a courtesy to McConnell telling him not to even hold the vote on a bill which has no chance to pass.  The last time McCain blindsided him.
