I know bits and peices of German, enough to order beers, introduce myself, ask basic things and such
Would love to learn German properly, or dutch as If I was going to live anywhere outside of England, It would either be Berlin or Amsterdam, such amazing cities. I got to stay with family over there for a summer, and I wish I could go back! Austria is such a beautiful country.

I used to think that being multi-lingual was a sign of wisdom, but this morning I heard that Nick Clegg speaks 5 languages. So that can't be true.

I don't believe that multilingualism is a sign of wisdom, just like saying that having a Ph.D doesn't make you wise. It just means that you received a significant amount of education.
