Ok, let's grant that 'John' and 'Paul' (and Ringo too, if you like) knew that "God" is a photon. What does the darkness mean in the verse? Dark matter or something?

How could a being that doesn’t experience time knowingly interact with those that do? Especially in the cause and effect manner that’s so prevalent in the bible?
In the case of photons, it’s not just that they cannot experience time, but that the dilation also affects distance. From their perspective, they reach their destination instantaneously. God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
