1970 was a lot of fun -- I was doing amazing things in mathematics in school, my comic book collection was becoming increasingly awesome, and I had a discotheque in my garage that summer. Astreja's Garage Greatest Hits: "United We Stand" by The Brotherhood of Man, "Reflections Of My Life" by The Marmalade, "25 or 6 to 4" by Chicago, and the dreaded "As Years Go By" by Mashmakhan, the single voted most likely to drive the rest of my household insane.

What was the best year of your life?

2001 was pretty cool. I got engaged on the New Years Eve just before while in Key West, and rang in midnight on Duval St. with my fiance. Moved down to Virginia Beach, then went on my first deployment in the Navy. Visited the UK, France, Spain, Italy, Greece and Turkey. Came back from deployment and got married that November. Had a honeymoon in Jamaica.
I truly believe it will be next year. It’s aready starting to take shape. If it has to be in the past, though, I’d say 2001. I made friends that I’ll love forever. We’re as tight as my jeans’ waistline. Sigh (munches on a baby carrot) It’s the dryer! I swear! (Rolls out)

I know, right? I was less than four months old when 1970 rolled around.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'
