Doesn't matter though.
If the smart folks here are unable to recognize that they're being condescended to, no need in me wasting my time spelling it out.
I guess what I'm not getting from the OP is some implication or insinuation on CL's part that there's something shameful about ''anything but straight' sexuality. Perhaps she is simply curious because doesn't come across it that much IRL. Are you basing your assumption that the OP is laced with judgement on something within it that I'm simply failing to notice? Or are you basing it on prior interactions with the author? Not being snarky; I just feel like your making a pretty big leap in assuming ulterior motives here.
I'm basing my opinion on the utterly dishonest fashion in which the OP was presented, as well countless prior posts and threads in which the author attempts to draw a correlation/connection between atheism and what considers she to be immoral as determined by her belief system.
She's slumming.
If folks can't see the obvious past the constant declarations "Gee golly, you guys are all swell!", that's fine; Makes no difference to me.
See what you want to see.

I can't decide between pansexual or romantic asexual. I used to identify as a lesbian. I voted bisexual as the closest option.

Why not choose both and alternate between the two every other week.

Just being playful here. You strike me as a contemporary Christian so I'm guessing you're not worried about God consigning some guy to Hell because he got off fantasizing about you and Thena getting hot and down to business.
Signing off. I'm going to bed now.
Noooo, no fantasies!

But as I've come to realize in the place I work now, you can find seemingly causeless spike in the population of gay people in a random place. I work up in the countryside and I'm almost certain there's way more than the average amount of lesbians in this area. I first thought it might be that they come to this area like it's some unofficial cool place for lesbians to be but a lot of them I know were born here. It's a bit like the village of the damned except with lesbians instead of blonde haired mind readers.
You know, I was thinking about that as well. I wonder if certain cultures/environments churn out more homosexual/bisexual folks somehow. For example, it seems like there's hardly any gay/lesbian Muslims or with any Middle Eastern background.
There wouldn't be anyway to get the correct numbers of gay people in most Muslim backgrounds. It would be like saying you want to find out how many people's favourite colour is green, anyone with that as a favourite colour dies. Even some of the western Muslims I know believe at worst the punishment is death, at best it's just frowned upon.
Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.

Sorry Thena, I'm not seeing it. It looks like an honest question to me. Even if her motive is nefarious, so what? I don't know about you but I'm not the least bit shamed or defensive about who I am. And this is friendly territory for us.

That's a good question. I'd be curious to know that as well. Don't think I've ever met one. I remember EP once alluded to the fact that he might be, but you never know with him.

Yeah I was gonna say I can understand them not coming out in Syria or something, but I've known plenty of Muslims here in the US (where they'd be perfectly safe) and have never heard of any of them being LGBT. It's like it just doesn't happen or something... But who knows. As you said, they may be supressing it still.

Can you get temporary asexuals?
At least I hope it's temporary, or do I?
I just don't really care about sex anymore.

Hmm I'm not sure asexuality is having a low sex drive. I think it means you just dont feel at all attracted to either gender?

Can the OP edit the poll to add pansexual and asexual? If so I will change my vote to asexual.

I'm attracted to both men and women. I just find sex boring.
