Erm... Nabors was born in 1930. That's a 29 year difference. He was 87 years old upon his passing so methinks he's lived a long happy life especially since he died of natural causes, IIRC. 

There are a high number of celebrities passing, but many seem to have lived a full life, going in their 80's. There are several sources of information out there that show the average life expectancy, but they mostly seem to widely vary. Some say mid 70's, some mid 80's. Given that, I'd say he lived above the average. None of this is really a surprise. Of course it's always some sort of a shock to hear a famous person died, but we've all gotta go at some point, right?
