1 comment: the theme song sucks this year, and I hope the Saudi team gets blasted in the mach with Russia !
Furthermore, I hope all the Arabic teams -especially Egypt and Saudi Arabia- get bitter defeat, as usual.
Of course, I don't have to preach against the crimes of Moscow in Syria. It looks like one of these Sci-Fi movies, where poor people are dying from hunger while the rich are having all the fun in their empires. Something like "The Hunger Games"><
Yeah, Will Smith can't sing for shit !

I'm living in Scotland so I have at least 3 teams to cheer on (joke)
I actually support Germany being half German myself.
I don't have a TV so won't be able to watch the world cup unfortunately.

...and the opening match is behind us it was a massacre 5-0 for Russia? Well, it was predictable, Russia doesn't accept defeat since they can chase away clouds over Moscow on the holiday of victory, why can not they win the first match? hehe but ok, I didn't see the whole match because I was late but the game was quite good ... especially the last goal of the free kick ... just awesome!
Anyway, I'm waiting for tomorrow's game Portugal - Spain .. that'll be fun!! I can't wait!
..and of course on Tuesday Poland- Columbia!!

and I hope the rest of the world cup is more embarrassing for the Saudi team. Nothing is more sad, than seeing the leaders of these two disgusting institutions sit and watch sport while civilian children die from hunger and war in Syria. Still it's lovely and beyond wonderful to see the Saudi team get massacred like that !

I'll temporarily support Portugal... for the sake of LP and poca ... but only until they play England... if they do... then the gloves are off
I'm not really a football fan, but I can get behind it for the World Cup... any other time it's the most boring game in existence
What team are you supporting Kitty?

I drew Uruguay and Costa Rica in the work pool.
Not a Real Sport, though.

Sorry, you've completely lost me on both counts... drew?... and what's not a real sport? Football?
To clarify I just meant... I think you're from New Zealand?... and if they're not in the World Cup... cos you're drawing lots of teams to support... and football is not a Real Sport to you... I was just wondering what the national sport of New Zealand is if not football? Not American football... so what, Australian football if that exists... or rugby or something? Just curious (and naive )

Rugby.
Second best sport in the world after Blood Bowl.

Ah, good choice (I was worried NZ/Australia had gone the American way and butchered rugby into it's own sport... Australian Football JK, I actually like American Football from the games I've seen). I much prefer rugby to football... cos they actually score points and not just once in a blue moon (this recent 5-0 victory excepted of course.. but usually you're lucky if you get 0-1 in football ) So what's blood bowl then?

Australia has Aussie Rules. It's about as entertaining as two snails racing...
Blood Bowl is a sport I invented.
It's kind of a mix of rugby and ice hockey with razor sharp sticks and shuriken...
