None of that says earth is a sphere, much less directly says.
How not to say earth is a sphere:

If I took that quote and asked people what it said, zero would come to the conclusion that it says the earth is round.

Why doesn't the Qur'an just say that?
You are telling me that Allah will directly and plainly tell you how to properly beat your wife or the rules for when it's okay to fuck your sex slaves, but does this stupid round about dance to tell you the earth is round? Just say the earth is round.

A sphere's border is always decreasing. Your sight might be very tough; but it can never catch the curve resulting from the decrease of borders spherically.
A comment I have: the earth does not seem to extend to infinity. If the earth was flat, the eye would have no problem at all seeing the entire earth. Please inform me what is this "end of sight" you speak of? Is it like a certain length that the eye stops seeing things? You do know we can see stars right?

Moreover; there is:

( 5 ) He created the heavens and earth in truth. He wraps the night over the day and wraps the day over the night and has subjected the sun and the moon, each running [its course] for a specified term. Unquestionably, He is the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver.
The wrapping of the night and day over is another direct indication that the plain night and day are part of, is round.
That seems like a vague way of saying the world is round. I'd give points to the quran for it, because the bible talks about a circle, or four corners, or whatever.

This is the part where I mention that the verse in question is referring to the wrapping of a turban. That's how "allah" makes the day and night....lol. I guess it doesn't sound super sciencey, makes magic book seem silly instead of wise.
Perhaps we should check the satellite imagery to see what kind of headgear the earth is sporting?
