Digital or Phsyical for gaming

RE: Digital or Phsyical for gaming
The theme of the baby shower was Nintendo. The banner over her crib with her name on it has Mario characters on it same with her baby blanket. Charlie will either grow up the biggest nerd ever or she will be... Athletic. Let's hope all our video games displayed everywhere her whole childhood will make the nerd side win.

When the push to eliminate physical copies was brought to PC, it steamed line the entire platform along side bringing the costs down. I will agree with on physical appearance, before I became a minimalist I use to like having the media collection has a badge of honor. Sooner then later I realized that I had too much stuff and went over to digital after I quit gaming for a while 'burnout from gaming'. When I came back to it, digital is the way to go though. My PC at the moment can support up to 128 terabytes of memory, so storage is not a issue for me, plus I did not install a disc drive on this PC either.

Losing digital copies does suck, but you can have the same problem with physical copies as well.

Woah! That's a lot of storage space?
How and where do you boot the OS from without a local disk?

Network?, usb?

Eh I don't really have other material objects so if I got rid of my books and games my house would be empty lol.

My gaming rig is built out of a server case, with 10 expandable hot swap-able pull out trays. If I had a bigger motherboard, I could use the last two trays making a 144 terabytes. I boot from a 256 SSD drive. (https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a...6811165156) The case and the M2 SSD (https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a...-_-Product). If anyone is curious, I'll post some pictures of the whole rig. I use all SSD for the Raid.

I use a Corsair HX1000 power supply, (https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a...gnorebbr=1). It should be compliant with ATX, this is the motherboard I used (https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a...6813132991). You will want to invest into a liquid cooler as well, fans can cool what I have.
