Huntington's, Sickle Cell Anemia, Hemophilia, Type 2 Diabetes... I can't think of any more inspirational work than fighting these diseases. I almost feel like humanity's progress in medicine is accelerating. The collective result is so tangible, observed most starkly as higher life expectancy and massively lower infant mortality. The amount these figures have improved over the decades is astounding.

I saw an earlier video recently on Facebook posted by my Trump-loving sister.  So it should be taken with a huge amount of salt.  Certainly the resources involved even if successful would make this billionaire surgery in the US.
