Santa Claus is an asshole anyway, and not just because he didn't leave me any shiny presents instead of the school supplies I regularly received during Chanukah.

If you listen to the Rudolph song, it becomes abundantly clear that Santa allows a being who is a little different to be ridiculed and ostracized for that difference...all up until he needs the poor chap. Once he has a use for him, then suddenly it's love and flattery. And more disturbingly, his change of attitude immediately changes the other reindeers' attitudes - like Santa's a cult figure who can change other people's opinions on a mere whim. WTF? What are we teaching our children? Make fun of people who are different? You have to like someone just because an authority figure said so?

Fuck Santa.

Actually most of Santa's gifts came from Chinese sweat shops. But then Santa's gifts always came from sweat shop somewhere. In a few years it will be Vietnamese, Indian, Thai and Banglordashi sweatshops.
