The memo's out

It seems there are so many Republican talking points that contradict each other over this.

Wow, he didn't even read the FISA application? This takes it to another level of stupid.

This is probably fake news or whatever, but still: https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/nat...9c9446c140

Quote:The court that approved surveillance of a former campaign adviser to President Trump was aware that some of the information underpinning the warrant request was paid for by a political entity, although the application did not specifically name the Democratic National Committee or the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign, according to two U.S. officials familiar with the matter.

...

The Justice Department made “ample disclosure of relevant, material facts” to the court that revealed “the research was being paid for by a political entity,” said one official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the matter’s sensitivity.

This is the trouble with partisan memos, and it's not just a problem for the Republicans. If you have a partisan memo, there's going to be some political spin.

All the facts are contained within one document: the FISA application itself. That will probably never get released.

I meant to post this article in this thread. The war hero 45 crapped on during his run, had this to say about the memo.

In the new spirit of revealing documents.
Any chance of seeing Donalds tax returns?

Basically, DNC/HRC pay $160,000 for the shoddy Steele dossier, then DOJ/FBI used the dossier for a FISA warrant on Carter Page.

Personally I find this just a little more troubling than Russian Facebook bots...

Why?  Carter Page had already stepped down from his position by the time the warrant was issued, three weeks before the election, no less. And, by Trump’s own words, he never even met the guy.  That hardly qualifies as “spying on the Trump campaign.”

Yeah, I know. Fake, fake, fake!

This is the result of 45's year of political scapegoating to the point of even crapping on intel.

http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-r...attacks-on

AND AGAIN 50 REPUBLICAN law agents warned us during his run the kind of damage those tactics would take.

https://www.nytimes.com/2016/08/09/us/po...trump.html

AND one more time, McCain, the war vet 45 crapped on had this to say.

SO when right wingers don't want to take our word for it, then they should argue with their own party members.
