The more urgent issue is what he's been hitting with his sauce, and does he have enough tissues?

The Bible lacks coherence. It's a bunch of books written by different authors with different modes of thinking and different theologies and beliefs.

Wrong, the Bible is like a fine tapestry woven to tell a real story everything is coherent and that's the great thing about it. It's amazing that the story line through many authors doesn't change, the entire book is about man's salvation through Jesus the Son of God.

God wasn't lacking in anything He used His power to give His love to others, sharing doesn't mean lacking. You need to try and understand the word wanted, it's not by necessity a need. Example- Today I wanted to go fishing but the wind was blowing to hard so I did not go. Going wasn't a need, nor was it going to fulfill or complete me, it was a desire to do something.

GC

I wanted to go fishing.  I experienced a desire for something that I wasn’t presently or currently doing.  Shouldn’t god already have, and already be doing anything and everything?  Why did god want to share love with other creatures?  Shouldn’t his love be self-fulfilling?  He’s god.

Just because I wasn't presently fishing doesn't mean I needed it to fulfill myself.  God has already and has always been doing what He desires, that's why He is omnipresent, He loved us before the actual creation and He also was there at the end of time before He actually created us. Being omnipresent gives God abilities we can't even begin to understand and this is obvious by your continued insistence that He couldn't have been fulfilled when the Bible tells us He was self-fulfilled before the creation.

GC
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

Jesus was never mentioned anywhere in the Old Testament. Just saying.

He is if you carry with you the preconceived notion that he is. If you really, really try, you can see Jesus in a piece of burnt toast ... or a random water stain in your basement drywall. Being able to see him in the Old Testament is easy, comparatively.

You’re right.  It means you were wanting to be experiencing something (the act of fishing) that you were not presently experiencing.  You’re making this more complicated than it is.

Quote:God has already and has always been doing what He desires

If he always had it, and was always doing it, then he doesn’t have any wants, now does he?  How do you want something you already have?

Quote:That’s why He is omnipresent, He loved us before the actual creation and He also was there at the end of time before He actually created us.

Um, what?

Quote:Being omnipresent gives God abilities we can't even begin to understand

Yet you seem to think you understand them well enough to tell me I’m wrong about them, lol.

Quote:and this is obvious by your continued insistence that He couldn't have been fulfilled when the Bible tells us He was self-fulfilled before the creation.

And if he was self-fulfilled before the creation, then he wouldn’t have wanted to create anything.

I have a feeling we're not talking about spaghetti sauce here.
The god who allows children to be raped out of respect for the free will choice of the rapist, but punishes gay men for engaging in mutually consensual sex couldn't possibly be responsible for an intelligently designed universe.

Good point. If Muslims can see Muhammad in the OT, then yeah ...

when the fish tells the children the cat should not be about when their parents are out, that bears the mark of a Jesusian parable on many levels. Using the fish just proves that the Cat in the Hat is demonstrably a type of Christ.
