His response to his "flock" about the Florida shooting was that it was God's punishment for taking prayer out of schools in 1963.

I could have "shared" his post on FB, but hey, he loves his guns and I have very few family members that speak to me as it is.  But I want to get his views out there.  I want the world to see this sickness.  And I don't know how to do it.

So I'm asking anyone here who enjoys posting stuff to various social media outlets to consider posting this.  Somewhere.  Anywhere.  I would take suggestions on other places to post it myself as well.  (A few friends have already posted the black meme on Facebook.)
Thanks.

IMO you're coming across as an intolerant bullying bigot who is potentially engaging in possible illegal internet activity.  If you have problem with your superstitious twit of a cousin you should be man enough to tell it to his face and not stir up a mob to lynch him.

That's fine.  I think that America needs to see comments like this.  Posted quotes, particularly on social media sites, are public property.  Memes are made out of them and shared all the time.  There is nothing illegal about it.  And he wants to lead the charge to get prayer back in the schools - hey I'm helping.

It's also not bigotry to highlight something so idiotic and tone deaf coming from a purported community leader (as church pastors tend to be viewed).

I remember hearing that scripture being read in Church and it's mind boggling that I stayed in that religion. Fuck a god that punishes people for things other people did.

Quote:Doxing (spelling variant Doxxing) is an abbreviation of document tracing, the Internet-based practice of researching and publishing personally identifiable information about an individual. The methods employed in pursuit of this information range from searching publicly available databases and social media websites like Facebook to hacking and social engineering. It is closely related to cyber-vigilantism, hacktivism, and cyber-bullying.

Quote:Doxing is always illegal, whether it is done against a federal employee, a state employee, or a regular person. There are federal and state laws that specifically address doxing government employees. With regular citizens, doxing falls under various state criminal laws, such as stalking, cyberstalking, harassment, threats, and other such laws, depending on the state.

Quote:Revealing a "name" per se' may, or may not be considered "Doxing" depending on the level of anticipated anonymity. However, in this law, the term "restricted personal information" means, "with respect to an individual, the Social Security number, the home address, home phone number, mobile phone number, personal email, or home fax number of, and identifiable to, that individual." This is an important distinction to remember.

Not cool dude. What if someone sees this, get angry at him and go decide to shoot up his house or something? By giving out information like this you've seriously put his safety in peril. It's standard practice to blank out the names when making memes like this.

No. You're only reading the scripture in part...He visits the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generations of those who hate Him. Then the next verse reads that He shows mercy unto thousands who love Him and keep His commandments.

He's saying that he visits wrath upon the generations of children who follow in the sins of their fathers but shows mercy to all who turn from the sins of their fathers to love God and keep His commandments.

The more I think about this, the more asking a bunch of strangers on the internet to attack someone giving them personal details to do so;  seems like a bad idea.

As I said, it comes down to what you are trying to accomplish by giving his name and location.  Perhaps you just want other's to confront him, because you are scared to , but it could end up being much more than that.  If you just want to say this is a bad idea and want to share that opinion with others, I don't see where giving a name is necessary.  I agree with someone who commented to the effect of; grow some balls, and confront him yourself.  If you like, I would help you to question him, and get you point across without being confrontational.

I think it is wrong to go behind his back, and ask strangers on the internet to attack your cousin.  Perhaps someone should let your cousin know?   Perhaps we could get your name and location and make up our own meme, and you could have your 15 minutes of fame.  According to your thinking; wouldn't this be justified?     Think before you do something rash!

Maybe having a relative who says this kind of crazy shit is crazy making if you live in a community which agrees with the shit and thinks you are off base for complaining.  Getting a sympathetic audience for his perspective strikes me as absolutely okay and more than appropriate here.

I don’t think that is a problem. It’s the part that requires a meme with personal information that could be used to track him down that concerns me. I think you are missing my point.

Getting a sympathetic audience to listen to his perspective is one thing, but he's wanting people here to do his dirty work for him and attack his cousin. He would be better off confronting him openly than for his family members to find out later on that he had been going around on the sly trying to recruit people to attack his cousin.
