Did You Know.......?

A thread for posting interesting facts and trivia.
Did you know that the 4 spikes on the tail of the Stegosaurus had no name. Then Gary Larsen named it the "Thagomizer" in a Far Side cartoon. (After the late Thag Simmons) "Thagomizer" is now the name for this feature and is used by scientists.
God thinks it's fun to confuse primates. Larsen's God!

Did you know that, contrary to popular belief, Batman actually has a superpower - he can see one second into the future (source: Bob Kane interview, 1990).

There is an ICD-10 code for having been bitten by an alligator (W58.01).
There is a separate ICD-10 code for having been bitten by a crocodile (W58.11)
Seems like they could combine those.

This is true, however the NTNON neologism is 'flange'. 'Whoop' is one of the official nouns, alongside 'band' and 'troop'.
