I’ve got to figure out this forum. Sorry for the cut up dialogue and messiness. Arghh....

Just about the format .. next time, when your reply press the icon that looks like a page with a corner folded on the far right above the text window.

That way you'll be able to see the way the formatting is done. For example, the small box of text I quoted by you begins with [ ]'s in which is written "quote=" followed by some text which starts with your username and then a bunch of gobbledygook. Also note that it ends with [ ]'s with "/quote", everything you quote will have to end with that. Somehow those all piled up in your post. Hope that helps.

To say a god did it is to say the answer is beyond us.  Nothing more.  A real explanation relates what is to be explained to other things we understand and can demonstrate.  You cannot demonstrate the supernatural.  To argue for the supernatural is to argue for our eternal infancy.

*my bolded in the quote from me* I changed "your" to "our" to make it less personal. I think you (and anyone else who settles for goddidit as an explanation) sells us all short. Sorry if that came off as insulting. It's just the way I feel about it.

-ism just describes something as a philosophy or system.

Not all -isms are created equal.



Bottom line is you can't simply stick an -ism on the end of a word and dismiss it as just another silly belief, because to do that completely undermines and devalues what a belief system actually is.
