What've Missed?

RE: What've Missed?
Welcome back Jenny!

How's the kid doing in college/uni?

Got some new art to show us?

Can't speak for others but I'm still creepy.

You already know that, don't be silly.

I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Pull up a chair and enjoy the show, it's ongoing!

But I advise avoidance of any party featuring Huggy.

Oh I intend to do more than watch. I'm not good at keeping my mouth shut.

Kids plural now.  And they are doing well.  I both miss them and like being an empty nester.  We Snapchat a lot.

I always have art to show.  I'm unsocialized that way.  Here's what it looks like out my back door today:

Here's a bit of Chicago from the trip to drop one of those girls off at college.

Thank you.  You cannot over flatter an artist, or actor, or musician.  So, a little Paris,[Image: Morning-in-Le-Marais-small.jpg]

A little Amsterdam,

For those that don't know me, I'm culturally Lutheran and Presbyterian but atheist from before I knew what the word meant.  I'm a 55 year old artist and recovering lawyer.  I once posted here a lot.  Then it got repetitive.  Then I missed it.  Now I'm back.

I'm flabergast to discover Mystic Knight has crossed over to the gray side of agnosticism, and resigned to Dritch's nonsense. Anything else exciting happen?

Welcome back!

I remember many great posts from you!

What have you missed?

Theists have finally proven that a god exists. We just continue posting here because we hate god.

Sorry, but it's a done deal. Nothing more to see here. Move along. Tongue

You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.
