Insufferable conservatives.

Piss off.

I think it started in 87 when the Fairness Doctrine stopped being enforced. Shortly followed by commentary being couched as news.

It got done under Reagan, but I don't know who had control of the congress.  Do you?

The internet did it, in my opinion. It rewards the loudest, most shrill voices and groups people off into political bubbles where they can pretty much just hear the voices if their own political opinions and easily demonize the other.

I mean, look at the left wingers here, who just blame the right and take no responsibility, even though will minor tweaking of the phrasing, they sound exactly like Rush Limbaugh themselves.

That's because you motherfuckers have been running the country into the ground for the last 40 years and still keep trying to blame "the left" which does not get to call the shots.  Unfortunately.

Fuck all conservatards.

I think another part of this, is driven by political correctness. We all used to be assholes to everyone. Gongs for asian characters. Laughing at fat people. Racist towards blacks, jews, poles, gays, trans, women, blonds, etc..

People LOVE being awful to other people. But political correctness started chipping away at that, deeming demographic after demographic off-limits to 'good' people.

So now we have all these people who love hating other people, but instead of it being spread out across all of humanity, it gets directed at a very specific group. So anytime society says "Hey, it's okay to be as shitty as you want to X!" People trample eachother to start laying into them.

To which you say, 'Yeah, but Donald Trump deserves it!' And maybe he does. But we saw it happen to Anne Hathaway for giving a speech that came off as insincere at the Oscars. And the 'good guys' tried to end her career over it.

Basically, people are a bunch of slobbering assholes just waiting to get the okay to attack someone. And for the most part, political opposition is the only acceptable target for a group of them, which makes for some contentiousness.

--

I'm not saying political correctness is bad. Just that people are bad, and will continue finding a way to be bad.

I blame Reagan.

Both of them actually. Ron and the bitch Nancy.

And their fucking court astrologer too . . . .
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Fuck all conservatards.

Im not a Republican, so dont stick it on me.

Also: exhibit a. I can just change conservative to liberal in 90% of your posts and you sound exactly like Rush Limbaugh. You could be writing his scripts.

Its easy, repeat generic insults over and over again. Always blame the other side, cite biased sources, etc. Rinse, repeat.
