Thank you.... we've already had more than a couple happy years and have been essentially living as a married couple.  We didn't feel like we needed the state's blessing, and certainly not any church.  But the practical matter of it is that a legal spouse has a lot more rights than a common-law one.

So, that is why kitty has developed an interest in chemistry, namely untraceable poisons.

Are you going to just go the county clerk route, or have more ceremony/celebration? I imagine KG would be stunning in a classic wedding dress.

We're going to have a friend officiate (atheist and ordained ULC minister) a private ceremony very soon. Probably next year we'll renew our vows with family and friends.

Bride's and bridesmaids dresses, check
Grooms and beat man's clothes, almost there.
His vows, 90%
Her vows, not so much.
Playlist, in process.
Ceremony rehearshed, changed, rehearsed, changed, repeat.
Venue moved, an old friend's wife does party planning and they volunteered to host, decorate and feed everyone. Groovy.
Transport logistics solved.

All in 9 days. Feels likw going downhill from here.
