Arguments for God in Quran.

For number 2, it's really not the same as any perception. For example, it's not the same as how you see the color brown. And it's not the same how you read a sentence and derive it's meaning.
It's -exactly- the same as seeing the color brown, or reading a sentence and deriving meaning.  It may not be for you..but we've already established that w have entirely disparate moral systems...so that's hardly surprising.

Let me give you the textbook definition of the position..so you can appreciate the irony in your "nuh-uh" response.

A moral realist is a person who holds the position that moral statements purport to report facts, and insomuch as a moral statement gets those facts right, it is true.

Quote:As for 1, it's written somewhere, so again, is it by genetics in your brain or what?
-again, facts aren't made facts for having been "written".  Not even in the pointlessly equivocative way that you're using the term.

You asked a question, you got the moral realists answer.  Do you deny that moral statements purport to report facts, or that if a moral statement got those facts right..it would be true?
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

I'm asking where those facts exist. You said no where, but somehow you perceive them like colors or reading a sentence.

I said no such thing, lol. Why ask me questions if you're going to supply your own answers in their stead?

that they don't need to be written anywhere.
You know I was talking metaphorically when I said written.
If we are going to get literal, fine.
Let me ask you. Where are moral facts found?

Moral facts are found wherever there are facts relevant to a situation or statement with a moral component.

You are avoiding the question.  The situation is not the moral fact.

You asked, I answered.  Are we getting past the basics or are you hung up? IDK why you'd respond the way you did above..because..just like last time..I said no such thing.

You avoided the question. You are trying to change the angle of it, and not answer it.

Look, lol....you're going to have to accept that...to you, any moral realist answer is going to seem like "changing the angle" - because it's not the moral system you employ, you're not familiar with it. Apparently, you don;t even think it can exist..even though I;m right here telling you about it.

More twisting and turning. Whenever you're ready to get back on track. Remember if you demand proofs, you are going to have to let the one claiming them explain it and give them the tools to show you how they perceive the proof.

Otherwise, just stop demanding them and admit you have no interest to know if they are true.
