I have long since hated "filler words". I think that stems from my public speaking class long ago in college. My professor told everyone you sound stupid if every other word is "Like, like, you know, like, like, you know." Combine that with chewing gum and smacking your lips and popping bubbles. "Oh my god, like gag me with a spoon".
