All the more reason to be prepared.

I hated being a child, and I JUST became an adult two years ago. It's going to get better from here, I know it. My "good old days" are yet to come.

Me too.  I thought my drug crazed, manic early twenties were good but really each of the following four decades has been an improvement.  So I expect I'll get to the sweetest sweet spot any day now.  Of course, the body's high need for regular maintenance sucks but so long as I do something good for it everyday it runs okay.

But she is in a better place now .. well, at least for the worms.  Wink

Hey, when are you stopping by anyhow?  The garden looks amazing right now and Heidi at least would love to meet you so long as you're a petter.

Fixed that for you.

That is why the old saying goes "Use thy emergency rations before they use you."

I was still a Christian, but it was all the world I knew, so I didn’t know I was missing out on anything. That’s when I met a group of friends that are still my friends today. Funny thing, they were atheist and I was their Christian friend. We’d walk down to the beach from my house and climb some huge rocks. We’d sit there looking at the ocean and talking about the future. One of them wanted to be a psychiatrist. He’s a psychiatrist now. Another wanted to be an architect. He’s an architect now. One wanted to build bridges. He’s an engineer now. I wanted to be a preacher.  Tongue I do sometimes wonder where I’d be today if I had grown up with a different world view. I wonder, but I don’t dwell. At least I’m not still dreaming of being a preacher haha

From 18 until my diagnosis with MS in 2015.
Life was simple: you got all your health to do whatever you want, you feel alive too.

After the diagnosis, I felt dead. After 2015 life is just not the same.
Heck; back in the old times I had very big dreams. So big actually. It's not that I don't have dreams now; but the scope is not the same.

The scope is shocking that I don't feel happy doing some stuff which are essential to build dreams.
But between me and the reader, hope is something I would never let go off.

I discovered through m this period that the human race contains lots of shit.

Ironically; 2015 made me appreciate life.
So probably; I should never hate what it brought to me.

Previous post was "good old days". I'm currently enjoying retirement immensely. These days are good despite the occasional aches and pains.

I was going to say, I think she just found out why all the boys were chasing her!

But then I remembered she's not an old fart like us...
