A lot more vegetarian choices there. Not so much the emphasis on meat as here in the states.

The Berlin U-Bahn definitely. Draw a circle with a twenty mile radius centred on Kreuzburg and you can get to within 5 minutes walk of literally anywhere inside the circle (including Potsdam and Oranienburg). Free unlimited travel for a week on €47.50.

I remember a young G.I., drunk out of his mind, trying to ride the Metro in Paris to find his hotel and his friends that he got separated from at the Notre Dame. That young soldier was me.
