Post concatenation question
I noticed this morning that if someone posts a message, and you read that message, and they subsequently post another message/reply that gets appended to the already read message, that message doesn't get marked as unread. This means that even though there's effectively a new reply in the thread, it doesn't show up in the "Today's Posts" list. The only way to know if a new reply has been posted is to be aware of your notification count (assuming it was a reply to you) and seeing the notify/count get bumped up.

Could this behavior be changed so that all new message content is marked as unread and shows up in Today's Posts?

Unfortunately there isn't a setting to do this.

Unfortunately I'm struggling to see how I can bring up concatenate in the pub tonight.
It's amazing 'science' always seems to 'find' whatever it is funded for, and never the oppsite. Drich.

3 or 4 Anchor Steams might help. Might completely not, though.

Yup. Should be Arrogant Bastard ale. One day I will break down and buy the monster Double Bastard ale bottle, just so whenever I visit San Diego, I can get the free refill. But that is a long trip, even for good ale.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

Double Bastard is smoother than you'd think, actually.

I hope I didn't give the wrong impression. I do drink it. I just don't buy it in the 3.5L (or whatever it is) size bottle. One of those 22 Oz bottles is good for a whole night of bibulous behavior.
