I'm not sure what it is with Ruination, but that just isn't to my taste. A few others have some sort of hops that turn me off. I generally drink Sam Adams Boston Lager, anyway. A couple of the others by SA are OK, but a lot of them I don't care for. I'll be cracking open an Arrogant soon though, sometime after I finish this Nookie Broon. Hadn't had one in awhile, so picked up a sixer when I bought a couple lotto tix.
