Burley is a trap for kentucky. Ultimately...no matter what a persons view on the use of marijuana may be, the economic argument for it's production is compelling, and particularly so in comparison to burley..and the shifting societal view of smoking cigs and smoking weed.

Has the FDA thoroughly vetted marijuana as safe and effective for the uses folks are touting it is good for ??
Let's not put the cart before the horse. I'm old enough to remember Thalidomide . . . .

The fda will never recommend anyone smoke anything, lol. That's the main use of marijuana. Smoking it, for fun.
They will, in compliance with federal law, recommend synthetic cannabinoids.

Curious, if they successfully decriminalize it, wouldn't they have to release everyone currently sitting in jail for marijuana charges and convictions?
