God thinks it's fun to confuse primates. Larsen's God!
You want everything, don't you?
Yeshua was an ethnocentric xenophobe. He only interacted with Israelites. Why Gentiles waste time on him is a mystery unless they are doing it for financial gain.

An old joke about this:
A missionary comes into the Arctic and decides to set up shop among the Eskimo/Inuit. He starts up a conversation with one of them. The missionary tells him that without Christ, the weight of his sins will surely send him to Hell. The Inuit thinks about this and says "My ancestors lived and died without knowing this. Do you mean to say that they're damned because they didn't get the chance to hear about it?" The missionary backtracks, saying: "No, no, not at all. They didn't have the chance to hear. God's not going to torture people just because they didn't get the chance to hear about it." He then raises his harpoon and asks, fuming: "Then why the fuck did you TELL ME? The wording was mine. Hopefully, I didn't fuck up my portrayal of the Inuit, since we have Tizheruk here.

It's amazing 'science' always seems to 'find' whatever it is funded for, and never the oppsite. Drich.

This may be because I'm currently reading King Leopold's Ghosts, where the King of Belgium managed to create a massive humanitarian disaster on a shockingly Hitlerian scale, including policies which included large quotas for rubber plantations, for which a sufficiently large amount of severed native hands could be a suitable substitute. Some of these people were killed for their hands, some were behanded while living, and at least one pretended to be dead while soldiers cut off his hand.

Aye, some really deplorable shit went on in those days.

Yeah, the first time I heard about it, I was shocked that shit like this was sanctioned (and on such a scale) by a European monarch in the 20th Century. Medieval era? Yeah. Non-European in more modern times? Maybe if this was a penalty with a long-standing tradition; I know some Islamic societies cut off thieves' hands (like Saudi Arabia and the more Muslim-controlled parts of Nigeria), although many other Muslims tend to have a far more liberal approach to that particular passage. And if the Yakuza counts as such a society, I know they're prone to cutting off finger joints when they really drop the ball. But a Belgian king from a little over a century ago? Even Hitler wasn't into this sort of shit.
