An update on that, their registration process is bizarre. They have to approve you before you can join, I noticed...and I haven't been approved yet lol Once they approve you, you have to post in one section only, then after that...you go to another ''level,'' and then after that, the community knows that it can trust you. What??
A little too serious for someone like me who just wants to ask some basic questions, etc. If they take themselves that seriously, it's a bit creepy, to me. So, think I'll pass...
They are beyond creepy from what I read so far of the forum, haven't joined yet, I think I might just do that actually after my summer course is over.

I don't know why... maybe it's because they take offense for people mixing their wisdom with conjecture?
And people mix the real ways of attaining magic and awakening the 3rd eye, with money making scams found in new Age books? Not sure, they might be justified. RE: Deidre's Ramblings

So, I’m waiting at a Greek restaurant for some falafel and spinach pie to go. And a Greek salad. I happen to like middle eastern specifically Turkish baklava better than the Greek version, though. Anyone love Greek food like me?
TGIF PS Did I tell you MK, that I’m 1/3 Iranian/Syrian?
I eat the two foods you just mentioned and I do like them.

It's amazing 'science' always seems to 'find' whatever it is funded for, and never the oppsite. Drich.

That's a really bizarre story. So, basically, the shooter had some sort of stalkerish crush on a former high school classmate, and from what I read, he sought her out in social media. She made it clear she wasn't interested in him, and then I think they went to court, and eventually this story broke in the local newspaper? The place that he targeted? It really makes you wonder about all the people you interact with ...all the people you've dated...all the guys who were a little too pushy, or forward, and made me uncomfortable. And you wonder if it could ever happen to you. I try to be positive in my life, see the brightness in life, but stories like this make me cynical, and paranoid.

Almost July, and looking forward to having an entire week off from work. I have a lot to do though. Hubby and I have decided to make it a staycation, and get some things done that we don't normally get done because we're working. I'm thinking of going through clothes today, and cleaning closets. That is a rough chore. And de-cluttering the house. I'm not a hoarder by any means, but there are some things I've collected over the past few years, that really need to go. I'd like to take in some art galleries during my time off, I love walking through art museums and galleries. I have a friend who owns an art store, and her stuff is so unique. I love the site Deviant Art. So many undiscovered talented artists... Have a good day, all.
So, I was cleaning today, and purging all of the items I've hoarded for whatever the reasons, over the past couple of years. It felt like a spiritual walk down memory lane. I found trinity crosses from my Christian/Catholic days, a pretty wooden elephant from when I was intrigued by Buddhism, and a few items that represented Islam. I looked at all those things, and decided to keep them, they represent a time when I was going through something. A change of sorts, and I smiled when I saw them.
I'm comfortable calling myself spiritual now, and have gleaned much from many beliefs and religions. I also realized though today, that I'm a bit of a hoarder. Not messy hoarding, but collecting things, that at the time seemed like a good idea.
I bet you looked like Benny from The Mummy
