Two Arizona brothers were charged Thursday in a Manhattan courtroom by federal authorities of bilking donors out of more than $23 million with a collection  “scam PACs,” telling contributors their money would be used to fund anti-abortion, GOP candidates and law enforcement causes, reports the Daily Beast.

William Tierney, 46, and Robert Tierney, 40, are due to be arraigned in Arizona on federal charges of wire fraud, mail fraud and conspiracy for raising money  through their political action committees from 2014 to 2018 — and pocketing $3.5 million to themselves while the causes they professed to support received only $108,000 in help.

Actually, these two should get a medal for scamming busy body "pro-lifers."

What's the crime?  They gave the causes $108,000.  They don't prosecute a CEO if he skims $20 million a year while paying some workers minimum wage.  

The verdict = not guilty on all charges.

The way I see it they stole money from scumbag republicunts and pro-birthers which otherwise would have been used for their nefarious purposes.  Nonetheless, I doubt that the DOJ will see it that way.

Everything is illegal in America but I would vote "Not Guilty" if I was on the jury.  There would have to be a specific law that states that they have to give a certain percentage to the causes in order to get a guilty verdict.

The way that idiot wrote the law it applies to counterfeiting and not to what the con men did.  It's a not guilty verdict.
