Stormtroopers can shoot straight . And Palpatine's plan could have worked if he had not been so arrogant . And while looking cool .It's a really bad design . But then again this is the same faction that didn't give their main line fighters shields or their line capital ships a point defense system to screen fighters .

Conversationally I use imperial...for work and any measurement..metric. Product of my time, lol.
