Now I'm reading Tom Robbins' Another Roadside Attraction. It's like the Da Vinci Code except that Tom Robbins actually seems to have a better grasp on what sort of ideas really would destroy the credibility of Christianity.

I just finished Kurt Vonnegut's Timequake yesterday. It's a good read, except for one small problem...

...there is no plot. It's basically a collection of random thoughts and rants by Kurt Vonnegut, with a little bit of a 'story' about Kilgore Trout in there. And you know what?

Because it's Kurt Vonnegut, I'm okay with that.

All the same, I'm much more engaged with God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater by Mr. Vonnegut than I was with Timequake. This one actually has a plot. It's actually about something. Big Grin
