What book are you reading?

RE: What book are you reading?
I'm trying to read Craig : The tensless theory of time.

It's pretty fucking dry, but seeing as the KCA is contingent upon A theory and Craig refuses to drop it (or really even speak about it in public) I thought i'd check it out.

For the record almost all Philosophers and Physicists use the B theory of time where the past present and future are all equally real along a dimension of measurement T - A theory has what you could call a 3d slice of all existence at any given moment and it is the only real moment that exists - It's in spite of relativity so I had to wonder why he uses it.

I forgot to add that recently I read The Evolution of God by Robert Wright, that book was brilliant I have to say, a must read for everybody here. Even although I don't agree his view of cultural changes being linked with zero-sum theory, humans are nowhere near as rational as Robert Wright believes they are. Also he gives religions more respect than they really deserve too.

Good luck. I tried reading it, but the dialect was so thick I just couldn't get through it. I much preferred the movie.

Love High Fantasy as well (perhaps a taste that is statistically correlated with atheism?).
But I just happen to be reading Discourse on the Method.. liking it a lot so far.. Descartes was one guy ahead of his time.

Just started The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test. Seemed a fitting followup to On The Road.
