You rather have me believe them to be illusions and hallucinations as I did in the past, but then my mind is no longer a battle ground, and I would be the source of illness, forming the hallucinations.

The truth is explained in Quran and 6th or 3rd eye is more reliable to perceive reality than any other sense, which doesn't show reality but just creates an experience with some correlation to reality. You told your mother this......and what did she do.....?
She wants me to stop taking medications and do exorcism. I don't listen to her and explain my mind has been disorganized and is too easily manipulated without medications slowing things down, it's to easy to defeat me with rapid whispers from the dark forces and my dopamine receptors are hypersenative to dopamine movement now.
I won't stop taking medications, because, I need my mind to be at a steady pace even if I would be much smarter without them.

My mom gives horrible advice with my illness now. She before did emphasize to take medications, I don't know what changed her mind.

Desperation, perhaps...in seeing that the medication wasn;t working?

Not really, it's when I started doing well in school, she thinks I don't need the medications anymore.

This is becoming harder and harder to believe with every post. You understand that, right? Either you;re taking liberties with the truth..or you;re painting a picture of your mother as a parent in dereliction of duty.

I already said, her advice with mental illness is very bad. In ways aside from that, she is a great mother.

Meh. I think his mother's attitude is fairly common. It's easy to think people no longer need medication once they start responding to treatment. I wouldn't hold that against her.
