I'm still pissed about all the lies regarding the ACA. I've been personally negatively affected.

Limited choice in coverage, either packages or more than one company even offering coverage

Changing personal physician more than once

Changing hospital system where I get treatment

UN-FUCKING-AFFORDABLE too

WIKI notes one of my drugs costs wholesale $8 dollars for 50 milligrams. My explanation of benefits shows a charge of $1300 for 63 milligrams, and that dos not include the $240 charge for going to the hospital to have it administered, or the hundreds of more dollars for the syringes, swabs, overhead, tubing, gloves and everything else. Something is GROSSLY fucked up and getting worse all the time.

My out of pocket for premiums, out of pocket, deductibles, exclusions and some drugs is over $20,000 this year, ad I am terrified it will be $35,000 to $40,000 next year if I can even get another gold plan in that time frame. 35 to 40 next year would be consistent to the increases I have already seen.

Also went quite a while last year knowing BCBS was canceling me 12/31/17 and at the time, NO ONE else was going to offer coverage in my state. Medica did finally step up, but due to some screw ups at UNMC, I incurred thousands of dollars (still negotiating amount) of out of network charges.

And I developed an existing condition while on an ACA policy, so I am dependent on that criteria of coverage now. And should ACA go belly-up, I am royally fucked.
