I'm too old to have encountered Mr Rogers (or Sesame Street) when I was a kid.

I don't recall when we started getting PBS over the air, but it had to be pushing 1970? Maybe we needed some antenna work or something to get it if my recollection when it was available is off.

LOL, as a kid, I was not allowed to touch the TV set . . .
 The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

I was always afraid as a kid that Mr. Rogers would actually end up becoming my neighbor then try to slaughter me and my family. That guy was one scary individual. He seemed capable enough.
